Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kans.) appeared to shift his stance on President Trump’s proposed $5,000 dividends announced earlier this week.
During a debate at the Kansas State Fair against Democratic opponent Adam Hamilton, a moderator asked both candidates whether they supported the dividends, noting the proposal’s roughly $1.2 trillion cost and the country’s growing national debt.
