Country singer Zach Bryan wore a shirt reading “Free Palestine” during his Friday concert at Gillette Stadium, following the venue owner’s decision to block Macklemore from performing there because of the rapper’s pro-Palestine advocacy.
The appearance comes after Macklemore said last month that he was removed from Ed Sheeran’s tour by stadium owner Robert Kraft due to his support for Palestine.
At the Gillette show, Bryan’s shirt was visible to the audience and media, drawing attention amid ongoing debate over artists’ political statements and venue policies.
