In an interview with CBS Mornings on Friday, Paula Devlin, a juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, shared that the testimony of Clancy’s former husband had a profound impact on her decision. Devlin noted that the lone holdout on the jury may have felt pressured and consequently refused to alter his vote. The high-profile trial concluded with a mistrial last Friday after the jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict following more than seven days of deliberations. Clancy was accused of killing her three children—5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan—on January 24, 2023, in Duxbury, Massachusetts. While the defense argued she suffered from postpartum psychosis and was overmedicated, prosecutors maintained she planned the murders deliberately.
